Project structure and approach
There are 3 prototypes planned during the 2-year project duration:
- Prototype 1: This is a GUI prototype without any functionality. It illustrates how a user will work with the HERA system in the application scenario of company tax declaration.
- Prototype 2: This prototype consists of two systems. One system is the model-driven development environment and the underlying reference architecture. The other system is the web-based process support system which extends the GUI prototype with actual functionality.
- Prototype 3: This is the final prototype which illustrates all the relevant aspects of the application scenario of company tax declaration and is realized using the model-driven development environment. Thus, parts of the system are programmed manually and parts are generated automatically.
